Today the world of tattoos has evolved in great dimensions, which is part of the culture of many societies.

We see it as artistic, modern, attractive and regardless of the age or lifestyle of the person and the tattoo, it is here to stay.

It is an ancient art and perhaps one of the first to be known on Earth. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, the history of tattoos is as long as it is interesting.

Its origin is not exactly known, but it is believed that this art was known to many cultures around the world, but it was practiced in different ways. We began our journey with the Eurasian men of the Neolithic period as the first tattooists, more than 5,000 years ago, judging by the remains found at the end of the 20th century, in Siberia and the Danube Delta.

Since then, it has been known that in Egypt, the place where henna pigments come from (which would also become a phenomenon in South India), women were tattooed to represent their social status and many mummies were marked.

At the same time, the Celtic and Germanic cultures used the art of tattooing for war purposes; the Japanese tattooed clay figurines that accompanied the deceased on their way to paradise, and the Aztecs especially tattooed children to pay homage to gods like Quauhtli.

What strikes us is that man from the beginning has been attracted to highlighting the skin in one way or another.
